Yes you read it right, Facebook is launching a page and not someone launching a Facebook page. Today, the social network unveiled a special page for the London 2012 Olympic Games. (Click to access)

A really cool idea offering a listing of all the official pages of the athletes participating in the London 2012 olympics along with those of the teams. You also have access to the official pages of the world federations of each sports discipline of the olympic games.

This first of its kind Facebook page seems to be a start to other interesting similar platforms in the near future 🙂
