Norway will be holding elections this coming Fall and the actual Prime Minister, Jens Stoltenberg (Labour Party), decided to drive a taxi to meet and discuss with citizens as he is running for a second mandate.
Why would he do that? First, because it is a great way to listen to citizens and get close to them. Second, because it is a creative way of showing that he is a “regular” citizen like everyone else. Third, because this has the potential to go viral and get free news coverage and is thus extremely efficient for his campaign. Promoting a great image to a wide-range of citizens in a creative way that would strike attention and with very low budget.
I don’t know why the video says that it is happening “A Day In June” but the date appearing on the footage shows it is the 10th of April.
