You may have seen the different beers friendship tests on The JR Express. This time Heineken decided to test people’s courage or willingness to be filmed singing and get broadcasted around New York City. They turned a private karaoke room into a TV studio and everything was broadcasted live in the Jumbotron (a basketball stadium), on Times Square and in some NYC cabs.
While I am pretty sure that the LG Meteor and Phone Breaker ads were fake, I have a doubt on this one too. Why? First, because you can feel from the “victims'” reaction the surprise effect but you feel like they directly understood what was going on. Second, They don’t show us people’s reactions in the cabs or on Times Square.
